5.5 Performances of the product applied on porous inorganic surfaces
It is recommended that the performance of the product applied to common and accessible lithotypes or artificial materials is reported.
Performance tests shall be carried out according to the test methods described in EN 16581 on at least three specimen for each category of porous materials. Artificial photo-oxidative ageing tests shall also be performed to assess the product performance according to EN 17036.
The technical data sheet shall include the following data:
a) the name of the laboratory that performed the testing;
b) the date of execution of the tests;
c) name and type of lithotypes or artificial materials used to assess the product performance,including its origin and composition, its total open porosity (P %) and pore size distribution;
d) the number, shape and dimensions of the specimens;
e) the average amount of product applied on the three specimens (kg/m2);
f) the characteristics of the light source used for the irradiation (lamp type, power and range of emitted wavelengths), the value of the irradiation, the duration (in hours) and the total radiant exposure He (in M]/m2) on the test specimens;
g) the curves of absorption by capillarity and the absorption coefficient AC in kg/(m2s1/2) for each specimen before treatment, after treatment and after the irradiation. These data shall be calculated by performing a test for each specimen according to EN 15801;
